Engagement and Maternity Photos at FOMO Factory
Your love isn’t traditional, your family isn’t like anyone else’s…so why take photos that look like they were ripped straight from the pages of Pinterest? One of our favorite things at FOMO Factory is getting to be part of the huge moments in people’s lives and we’re so honored when people come to us for senior sessions, engagement photos, or even maternity shots. For some, FOMO is a first choice to reflect their quirky style, and for others it makes the perfect backup when a sudden thunderstorm ruins a pre-planned shoot. Inside FOMO, the sun is always shining and it’s full of the type of dreamy lighting that makes everyone look fantastic.
Check out these awesome engagement photos from Elissa R and Creatrix, and these colorful maternity photos from Lisa Woods (plus, if you’re a mom who lives by her own rules, be sure to check out the subject of these photos, Sarah Quiara, who is raising her brood while traveling the country in a van!)
Here are a few things you should know before you shoot at The FOMO Factory:
All photo subjects and the photographer will need a ticket
If you have a special event ahead of you, we advise buying tickets immediately to secure time for your shoot. While we sell tickets at the door, it’s not uncommon that we sell out.
We don’t allow external lighting and excessive props
Although FOMO is obviously a great place for photos, we are about experience first and bulky accessories can interrupt other guests’ experience. We use daylight adjusted lighting in the 4500 kv range, so great photos abound and skilled photographers shouldn’t have any struggles getting a good shot.
This is a shared space but we do book private sessions
When you buy a ticket to FOMO you’ll have an hour and a half inside and you’ll be sharing the space with other guests of all ages. At times this means rooms can get crowded or you may have to wait your turn. We advise researching ahead on which rooms are most important to you and focusing on those. If you’re seeking something more exclusive, please contact us at email@example.com
Bring outfit changes in moderation
We know you want to mix it up! We have large, clean bathrooms where you can change but please keep your outfit swaps to a minimum and try to avoid carrying large bags through the Factory.
The FOMO Factory is temporary but we live on for a lifetime in these precious photos. To be intimately woven into the biggest moments of people’s lives makes us the happiest ever!
